TOURNAMENT RULES:

Swiss Pairing - 16 players per draw.

1. Draw: Entrants will be notified of the draw by email 3 days before the tournament takes place.
If you have not been notified please contact the WPS office.
2. Venues: All matches will be played at Durbanville Squash Club at specified times.
Players must arrive 25 minutes before the appointed time of their match and must report to either the Tournament Organiser. Should a player arrive more than 10 minutes after the scheduled time he/she may be disqualified from the Tournament.
3. Matches will be the best of 5 games played under the Rules of Squash Singles as approved by the World Squash Federation which came into effect in 2001 and, unless otherwise stated, the Dunlop Pro-Revelation ball will be used. Par 11 for the Men’s and ladies A sections, PAR 15 for other sections.

4. Marking: It is obligatory for all players to mark the match immediately following their match. Referees appointed for the semi-final and finals will be required to have refereed at least two matches prior to the semi-finals and finals. Please check the Court Allocation schedule for marking duty.

5. Entry fee will not be refunded to players who withdraw after the draw has been done.
